GORRAGH YETI BANE

Chief of Clan Armageddon

CN Half-Orc Barbarian 15

Gorragh, son of Urzogh, is the chief of Clan Armageddon.  He succeeded his father as chief many years ago after Urzogh was ambushed by a pack of mountain yetis and slain.  Gorragh's tent is still decorated with the hides of the offending creatures.

Urzogh sent Gorragh away to the south when the latter was still a youngster, apprenticing the young half-orc to Shagrash One-Ear, a hobgoblin who had been a legendary gladiator in the fighting pits of Unther.  Urzogh had wanted his eldest son to learn how to properly wield the family's ancient heirloom, Sivim'ii'kith, a jagged, silver-bladed greatsword of mysterious origin.  Urzogh could think of no finer teacher than old Shagrash, and Shagrash had owed him a blood debt.

As he progressed as a warrior, Gorragh's natural rage was both his greatest strength and his greatest weakness.  While Shagrash's other students were pushed into more refined weapon skills and techniques, the old hobgoblin decided to shape Gorragh's hatred into the half-orc's first weapon of choice.  The results certainly spoke for themselves . . .

Rather than returning to Vaasa after his training was complete, Gorragh headed south into the lands of the Old Empires, adventuring, freebooting and seeking out whatever mayhem he could find.  Among his adventuring companions in those days were Bastian the Sword Saint and Dazulka White Tusk, a brown-skinned half-orc of the southern plains.

When at last he tired of the adventurer's life, Gorragh sought inner peace on the endless tundra of his homeland.  Dazulka went with him into the north, and the two were married in the Grommon'Kash as befit the heirs of House Armageddon.

Now content to lead the tribe, to this day Gorragh never passes on an opportunity to wet Sivim'ii'kith in the blood of the mountain yeti.  Few things put the aging half-orc into a better mood than organizing a hunting party and heading off into the mountains for a few days.
